Meg arrived in March of 2021

Megs sire is "Shep" and her grandfather is "Sweep" bred by RJ Hutchinson of Lancashire, England.

Megs dam is Holman's Joy Bred by John Holman of Nebraska

Meg has been Owner Trained, Handled and trialed! 

Meg enjoys working  in Large Flock Trials, Arena Trials, Ranch Trials and French Trials. This little girl will sort a small pen or she'll cover stock in the field.

Meg is Now a Triple Champion! She has her AKC Herding CH & AHBA Championship as well as her ASCA "WTCH




Meg earned her WTCH in May and won the High Combined Advanced Buckle as well as 6 High in Trials, The Bob Jones Memorial award, The Justin Tyme & The Mister Memorial awards on cattle, sheep, ducks and geese. Thank you to judges, Marie Nagano, Joan Carillo & Maxine Schvaneveldt. What a fun weekend & so Honored to have won these treasured Memorial awards.

Meg won the most promising started dog on all stock and her first buckle and the WASCON Spring trial. Thank you to judges, John Knepper, Jim McKay & Brad Warren!

Meg & Lisa entered their first ASCA Farm Trial in 2025 and won the High Combined Open Buckle for their work over 4 days on cattle, sheep, goats, ducks and geese. Thank you to judges, Maxine Schvaneveldt & Sharon Simmons !

Meg shown with some of her accomplishments. From the Border Collie Parent Club BCSA: Meg ended the 2024 year winning First Place in the Nation in AKC in Adv A Sheep, Inter B Sheep, Adv D Sheep, Inter D Sheep, Adv A Ducks, Inter B Ducks and 3rd in Adv B ducks. She also won the Highest Number of High in Trials as well as Reserve High in Trials!

 

I started Meg on cattle a short time ago and she absolutely loves working them! She went HIT and RHIT in her first 2 cattle classes with scores of 96.5 and 93.5 . We are very excited to see where this takes us.

Meg goes High in Trial & Reserve High in Trial and High Combined over 1 weekend on The D Ranch Course in Nevada under judge Deborah Pollard from California

Meg really enjoys working the Ranch courses. We start out in an open field with an outrun and gather, go through some panels & Obstacles & and do several tasks on a ranch including gate sorting, loading a trailer and moving stock quietly from one place to another. Every course is different and that's what makes it fun!
