Jesse and I were both raised around livestock and have always been involved with some kind of competition. I showed & Bred Quarter Horses for over 20 years then I started competing in Team Roping. Jesse started competing in rodeos at age 7 and continued through College on a scholarship and competed professionally as a PRCA member in the Saddle Bronc Event for several years. He won his Circuit Finals in Both California and also in the Frontier Circuit and made the Dodge Circuit Finals 3 times.
We have owned several Australian Cattle Dogs ,even before they were recognized by the AKC in 1980. At that time our dogs were our pals & ranch helpers. We started showing our dogs in 2003 and all showing and training has been owner handled. We are members of the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America, The AHBA and the Santa Maria Kennel Club, The Australian Shepherd Club of America as well as the Border Collie Society of America .We participate in AKC, AHBA & ASCA and we are both AKC Herding Judges.
What started out as "just for fun to see how we do" has really changed us and how we see the Australian Cattle Dog. This is truly a versatile and intelligent breed and our goal is to exemplify that. We feel that the Australian Cattle Dog should not only look good, but be strong and versatile in all that he/she does and have the conformation to hold up to that. We have spent many hours socializing our dogs and have them with us as much as possible. We keep them active and always try to have some kind of 'job' or training going on. Our dogs seem to thrive on that. We also take time to just play with our dogs and of course there's always lots of pets and hugs too.
We are so very proud of our dogs and their individual accomplishments and Because of this, we have been presented
Breeders of Most Herding Titlists from the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America in 2012, and 2014 through the year 2022!
Also the Breeder of Most Obedience Titlists in 2017
Breeder of Most Rally Titlists in 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2018 &

There's always time for a Hug or two!
